Hey guys! I hope you had a great Fourth of July. Today I will be sharing with you, 9 crafts to spice up your room! These crafts are really easy! And most of the supplies you need are probably lying around your house. So let's get into it!
Clipboard Decor:

What you will need for this craft is:

-A trash bag
-A printed out page of a quote, calendar, etc.
-A clipboard
-Paintbrushes
-Paint of your choice
All you do is paint your clipboard whatever you like (with the trash bag laid out under it) and clip your piece of paper on it and you're done! This craft is super easy and doesn't take much time at all.
To Do List:

What you will need:

-2 colors of paint
-Paper towels
-Dry erase markers
-A picture frame( I got mine from Dollar Tree)
-(And a paint brush, which I forgot to add in the picture)
Step 1: Lay out the paper towels and take apart your picture frame. It should be divided into 3 pieces. The glass, frame, and stand.

Step 2: Paint the frame (if you want) and the stand.

Step 3: Put the picture frame back together and you're done! Now you have a cute way to stay organized.
LIVE Canvas Art:

What you need:

-A trash bag
-Masking tape
-Paint brushes
-Acrylic paint
-Canvas
Step 1: Spread out your trash bag. Then, lay out the masking tape the way you want. I chose the word "live." Mostly because it was easy to tape out!

Step 2: Paint the canvas the way you want until the whole canvas is covered.

Step 3: Take off the masking tape after the paint dries. And you are done!
Washi Tape Wall Art:

This project is really cool! If you put washi tape on your wall it won't mess up the paint. And it is easy to peel off if you want to take it down or if you made a mistake.
Rock Book Holder:

All you need to do is go outside and find two rocks. Then, spray paint or just paint both of the rocks. Stand up your books like on a bookshelf in between the rocks and that's it! This DIY is great if you don't have a bookshelf.

Step 1: Stick washi tape on your lightswitch cover, with some hanging over the edge. Make sure to take it off the wall first!
Step 2: Cut a little bit of the excess wahi tape off the sides if there is a lot.
Step 3: Fold over the remaining washi tape.
Step 4: Brush glue or mod podge over the tape and let dry.
Another great way to decorate your room is with cacti. This is really popular right now!

Glass Bead Jar:

If you need a place to put all your random things this DIY is for you! All you do is super glue or hot glue glass beads all over a container. This way it will look like decoration but you have miscellaneous things inside.
Faux Cacti:

If you don't want to buy real cacti then making fake ones with stones is the way to go. All you do is paint some stones to make it look like they are real cacti. Then, stick them in a cute flower pot with gravel or dirt.
I hope you guys enjoyed this blog post! You should really give some or all of these crafts a try! If you haven't subscribed at the bottom of this page to receive emails everytime I upload something new, you should right now! Thanks for reading!
